About Studr
Studr is an AI study app for students. It takes the material you already have — lecture recordings, PDF textbooks, YouTube videos — and turns it into structured summaries, flashcards, and quizzes, scheduled with spaced repetition so it actually stays remembered. It's available on iOS and Android, and 2,200+ students use it today.
Who writes this blog
The Studr blog is written and edited by Muhammad Mustafa, Studr's founder. Every comparison and guide published here is tested against the real apps — free tiers signed up for, PDFs uploaded, lectures recorded — before a ranking or a price is printed. Where a competitor beats Studr (NotebookLM's free tier, Anki's scheduler for USMLE prep), the article says so.

How we test
- Real material: actual coursework — recorded lectures, textbook PDF chapters, YouTube reviews — run through every app we cover.
- Verified pricing: prices and free-tier limits are checked against the vendor's live pages at publish time, and hedged when they can't be verified.
- Disclosed conflicts: we make Studr. It is not ranked #1 in a comparison unless it wins on the stated criteria, and each article names where it loses.
- No fabrication: no invented testimonials, ratings, or download counts. Usage numbers on this site come from our own database and are rounded down.
