These terms and conditions apply to the Studr – AI Note Taker app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Muhammad Mustafa (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service.
By downloading or using the Application, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before using the app. Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, or redistribution of the Application or any part of it is strictly prohibited. All trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider may modify the Application or its services at any time, including the right to introduce charges. Any such changes will be clearly communicated in advance.
The Application stores and processes personal data that you provide, including name and email, for the purpose of enabling key functionality such as cloud sync and account recovery. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account access. Rooting or jailbreaking your device is strongly discouraged, as it can compromise security and break functionality.
The Application may request permission to access your device’s microphone. This is solely used for the purpose of recording audio notes so they can be transcribed into text by AI. No audio is recorded without your explicit consent.
The Application may request permission to access device storage through a file picker. This allows users to:

The Application uses Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In to allow users to securely authenticate and create accounts. This also allows the Service Provider to store your content (e.g., transcriptions, uploaded PDFs, history) in the cloud, so your data is not lost or tied to one device.
The Application uses third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions:
Some functions require an active internet connection. The Service Provider is not responsible if features fail due to poor or no connectivity. If using the app over mobile data or while roaming, you are responsible for any data charges incurred.
You are also responsible for ensuring your device is sufficiently charged and functioning. The Service Provider is not liable for consequences resulting from failure to access the app due to battery loss or hardware/software issues.
While the Service Provider aims to keep the Application updated and bug-free, they rely on third-party services and APIs. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss or harm, direct or indirect, resulting from reliance on app functionality or data.
The Application may be updated periodically. You agree to install updates when provided. The Service Provider reserves the right to discontinue support or remove the app at any time. Upon termination, all rights granted to you will cease, and you must stop using the Application.
These terms may be updated occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
